Laura Lynn Murphey joins the Bonfire development crew
0Laura Lynn Murphey has joined Bonfire’s development crew. Laura brings a decade of experience with companies like Transworld Snowboarding Business, Atomic Snowboards, 686, Sole Tech/Etnies/Etnies Girl, Volcom, and Fox Racing to her new role at Bonfire.
“I’m excited to be at Bonfire. It’s such a great crew, a smaller office where design and development work closely together and people are passionate about making quality snowboarding products,” says Laura Lynn Murphey.

Backyard Bang Denver
4Salomon Snowboards and Bonfire Outerwear has been putting on the Backyard Bang in Portland, Oregon for a couple of years now, and for Winter 2010 they brought it to Denver, Colorado. The crew closed down a street in downtown Denver, and we were there to capture the fun. (more…)
Salomon Pro Team To Appear At Backyard Bang Denver
0DENVER, CO. (Nov. 13. 2009) The first annual Backyard Bang Denver is shaping up with a stacked rider list and a forecast that calls for potential snowfall at the first ever downtown rail jam at the Art Institute of Colorado on November 21st at 11am.
Salomon’s Pro team will be in town as part of their Team Tour, hitting local shops from coast to coast. Louif Paradis, Jed Anderson, Chris Grenier, Bode Merrill, Scotty Arnold, Harrison Gordon and Chris Carr will be hanging at the event, while local Pro’s and Ams compete for the first place cash. Backyard Bang Rail Jam Brings Snowboarding to the City
1[DENVER, CO, October 28, 2009] – Kick off the winter season with the 1st annual Denver Backyard Bang Rail Jam, a grassroots snowboarding competition held Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Art Institute of Colorado at 1200 Lincoln Street in downtown Denver.
Hosted by Salomon Snowboards and The Art Institute of Colorado, the homegrown rail jam brings the best up and coming pros and amateurs from the Rocky Mountain region and beyond to compete in the heart of Denver’s Golden Triangle District. (more…)
3rd Annual Backyard Bang Rail Jam Keeps the Clouds at Bay
0PORTLAND, OR. (Oct. 31, 2009) – For the third year in a row the crew at Salomon Snowboards tempted fate by throwing a rail jam in the middle of downtown Portland during the Rose City’s typically rainy autumn. It didn’t stop Jonah Owen from throwing down hammers in front of the Art Institute of Portland—he pressed and spun his way into first place with Johnnie Paxson in a close second and Austin Sweetin rounding out third.
The vibe was mellow and fun and brought the Pacific Northwest snowboard community together for early season anticipation, proper jibs, frothy beers, free prizes and dance-worthy jams by DJ Wicked. (more…)
Salomon And Bonfire Present Videograss Oct. 16th In Denver @Beta

Takaharu Nakai Joins Salomon Snowboards’ International Pro Team
0PORTLAND, OR. (Oct. 2, 2009) – Takaharu Nakai brings his big technical riding to the already stacked Pro team at Salomon Snowboards including Wolfgang Nyvelt, David Benedek, Louif Paradis, Annie Boulanger, Josh Dirksen, Jenny Jones, Sylvain Bourbousson and Scotty Arnold.
“Takaharu’s ill. I heard he filmed his part in the Alterna movie in just more than a month. I’ve seen it and it’s heavy. He’s on some next level shit and it won’t be long for the world to see that. 12th Annual Bonfire Pipe To Pipe Dates Are Set

PORTLAND, ORE. (May 5, 2009) – The Bonfire Pipe to Pipe is longest running summer snowboard event in the world. June 12, July 11th and July 19th Bonfire brings the kids and pro’s together to ride at Timberline and Windell’s on Mt. Hood– with a rail jam and skate contest like none other– followed by a free Barbeque and tons of prizes.
The events are free and open to the public. Pros take home cash and Ams win the goods from event sponsors.
