Ally Distribution Launches First Multi-Title Action Sports Digital Download Player

SEATTLE, WA (November 19, 2008) – The development of a new digital download player by ALLY Distribution will change the way people enjoy action sports films. By adding an entirely new dimension to the distribution model, this download player enables consumers anywhere in the world to instantly access featured titles and clips. Called the ALLY digital DOWNLOAD Player, the company wanted to create something that would transcend the physical barriers of DVD’s and seamlessly play on all forms of digital devices.
The ALLY Player is now available to any online retailer, sponsor, or individual who would like to offer films for download from their website, Myspace page, Facebook page, or similar platform. Currently featuring 20 newly released full-length snowboard and ski videos, new titles and clips are slated for addition each week. Because the team behind ALLY works to update the player, there is no maintenance or upkeep for the webmasters and designers after they embed their code. (more…)

Pirates and Runway Premieres Take Over the Northwest

PORTLAND ORE. (October 7, 2008)—The Bonfire Movie Tour, presented by Bonfire Snowboarding and Monster Energy has officially kicked off with two back to back stops in Portland and Seattle. Combined, the premieres raised nearly $1700 for Boarding for Breast Cancer and gave away a ton of prizes in the process.
The Portland Premiere started things off with Runway Films’ hit new movie “See What I See,” followed by Pirates Productions’ “Overseas.” The crew from Exit Real World helped fill the house and raise the cash. Four kegs turned the premiere into a dance party despite the influence of several Portland residents observing “Sober October.” (more…)

August DVD Cover
August is the third video project from Airblaster. Following such classics as December and April, August does not disappoint. The movie was filmed this past August on Mt Hood Oregon. Mt Hood had a record snowfall season and this produced some amazing summer time snowboarding. Airblaster took advantage of this and invited all the team riders and friends up to the mountain for summer time shredding. This time around we had fancy cameras and amazing jumps and features provided by Mt Hood and HCSC. The video is about 30 minutes long and has hours of bonus video. Another great aspect of the DVD is that it also has a full length feature from HCSC called The Sounds Of Summer. (more…)
