Slopestyle Stays On Course At The 2008 Australian Open

PERISHER BLUE, AUSTRALIA (September 3, 2008) – Heavy snow resulting in poor visibility tested competitors today during men’s and women’s slopestyle qualifications at Perisher Blue Resort. Riders from all over the world took on the inclement weather during day three of the Burton Australian Open to earn a place in Friday’s slopestyle finals, alongside some of the world’s best snowboarders including Mikkel Bang, Chas Guldemond, Torstein Horgmo, Mason Aguirre, Kimmy Fasani and Jamie Anderson.

Japan has an air of mystery around the islands that collectively make up the country. It could be the spirits in the trees that house the much sought after powder snowboarders are always searching for. However, the mystery of the 2008 Nissan X-Trail Nippon Open so far has been the weather. After a rough couple days of heavy snow and high winds, the sun finally came out today for the Nippon Open ParkStyle finals at ALTS-Bandai resort. (more…)
Gravis Footwear Welcomes Mikkel Bang to Snow Team

Irvine, CA (October 3, 2007) – Gravis Footwear proudly welcomes Mikkel Bang to its team of professional snowboarder. The 17-year old Norwegian is now the youngest rider on the Gravis team and joins the likes of Romain De Marchi, Trevor Andrew, JP Solberg and Heikki Sorsa. (more…)
