0Good mountain, great beginner terrain
I just spent three days learning to snowboard at Keystone. The snow was decent, but the mountain atmosphere was great. It was very laid back and low-key, I didn't feel totally out of place while falling all the time.
Keystone is a fun mountain, and a great place to learn how to ride. Their instructors are wonderful, and I will definitelly be coming back for more.

Breckenridge and Keystone Set to Open More Terrain this Weekend
0Broomfield, Colo. – Nov. 15, 2007 – Resort officials from Breckenridge and Keystone announced they’ll open more terrain this weekend. Temperatures dropped into the teens last night allowing for productive snowmaking at both of the Summit County, Colo. resorts. The National Weather Service is predicting colder temperatures and a chance of snow showers this weekend with temperatures expected to dip back into the teens on Monday night and Tuesday night and, to sweeten the Thanksgiving pot, snow is in the forecast for Wednesday. Over 8″ of Snow Falls in Breckenridge, 7″ at Keystone and 6″ at Vail and Beaver Creek
0Skiers and snowboarders in Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone woke up to winter this morning. As of 10 a.m. on Sunday morning, Breckenridge had more than eight inches of snow in town with even more snow on the mountain. Keystone was reporting seven inches at mid-mountain snow stakes with six inches falling at Vail and Beaver Creek. The snow continues to fall and the Colorado mountains are under a winter snow advisory until 6 p.m. this evening. The forecast calls for snow through Monday afternoon with another storm predicted for the end of the week. (more…)
