Burlington, VT (October 1, 2008) – This month Burton’s movie It’s Always Snowing Somewhere will premiere in eleven North American cities over the span of two weeks. Each stop will also feature athlete autograph sessions and after parties. Innsbruck, Austria – February 2nd 2008: The Bergisel Stadium in Innsbruck, Austria was packed with screaming fans as riders reached incredible heights and laid down some of the sickest tricks ever seen on a Quarterpipe at the Billabong Air & Style. Kevin Pearce (USA) took the Swatch TTR FIVE(5)STAR Title, his second Air & Style win of the season, and moved into World No. 2 on the rankings, right behind Risto Mattila (FIN) who still holds on to his TTR Tour lead. Munich, Germany (December 1st, 2007) – The December 1st Nokia Air & Style Munich 07 goes down as the most progressive snowboarding competition to date. Kevin Pearce (USA) came out victorious with his first ever SIX(6)STAR Title. Kevin claimed the first 1000 Ranking Points of the season, putting him in fourth on the Swatch TTR World Tour. (more…)
