Top Ski Resort gives away once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
Sun Peaks, BC – Sun Peaks Resort is excited to announce a once-in-a-lifetime competition, I want to be the Snow Bum, giving snow-lovers the chance to win an all-inclusive stay in the mountains for the entire 2009/2010 Winter Season.
One lucky skier or snowboarder will spend the ski season (three months) at BC’s second largest ski area, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, snowmobiling or even dog sledding! The Nikita photo shoot contest is BACK but with a new twist! It’s one of the most popular contests held by Nikita, with girls the world over sending in their photos for a chance to be at the next photo shoot for Nikita’s coveted streetwear catalog.
This year Nikita is offering another rare opportunity for two girls who want to join in the photo shoot for the FW10/11 collection. The location of the shoot will be in the unique and multicultural city of New Orleans! This time Nikita is also offering an amazing opportunity to one girl with an interest in photography to get involved and shoot behind the scenes. The winner will be given cameras to snap away to their heart’s content, capturing aspects of the trip which are rarely seen. Write reviews to win this years top snowboard videos

Throughout the winter 08/09 season we’ll be doing monthly giveaways of snowboard gear, and all you have to do to enter is write a few reviews.
For the month of October we’ll be giving away snowboard movies every week to the reviewers who post the most reviews. No set numbers, it might be one movie each to four different reviewers one week and something else the next.
We have multiple copies of: All Day Every Day, Down With People, Ready, Finger on da Trigga, Knockout, Boned Age, Double Decade, Heart Films Vol 3, Stack Footy, Gold Country, Working Out The Kinks, Let It Ride, Thanks In Advance, Technicolour, It’s Always Snowing Somewhere, My Own Two Feet, Knock On Wood, and several others to give away.
While we do now allow anonymous reviews on SBG, you must post reviews from a registered account to be eligible for contest giveaways, anonymous reviews are not eligible. But that’s okay, account registration is free and easy!
Here’s how to post a review on SBG:
Open your closet and find some snowboard gear you want to review. This can be just about anything, from boards, boots, and bindings, to outerwear, helmets, and goggles, or even electronics like cameras and music players. We also have a resort review section if you would rather review a resort.
1. First you’ll need to register an account on SBG:

Make sure to use a valid email address to be notified if you win.
2. Once you’ve got yourself an SBG review account, go to:
www.snowboarderguide.com/reviews
3. Choose product or resort reviews.
Navigate through the categories, to the category that best describes the item you want to review.
If your item isn’t already listed, then click “Suggest New Product.” Fill out the details. If you have a picture of the item, go ahead and upload that too, but it isn’t required.
4. When you’re done, hit submit, it will now let you review your item.
Fill out the fields, write your review of the product, and hit submit. You’re done!
5. Reviews will then be moderated by our staff, so they won’t show up on the site right away. Feel free to submit more than one review.
Each review you write that is approved by out moderators gets you one entry into our monthly drawing. In addition, there is a prize for the reviewer with the most accepted reviews each month.

It’s time to strap yourself in and start filming! Poland’s Kasia Kwiecien did just that and with a blinder of a snowboard clip entry, she won herself a trip to Iceland to hang out with the Nikita crew. Courtesy of the Nikita Snowboard Clip Contest, Kasia was picked out from hundreds of entries of girls who entered to win the chance of a lifetime.
