Burton is always one of the highlights of SIA for us. The sheer magnitude of Burton’s product line dwarfs most other brands, and the 2010 line is no different. As well as being the biggest, Burton’s line is among the best looking for the 09/10 season. You can be certain you’ll be seeing a lot about this gear in the next few months. By far our largest appointment, we spent 2 1/2 hours with Mia going through next year’s offering from Burton, R.E.D., and Anon. We also had the opportunity to hang out with Danny Davis, Kevin Pearce, Jake Burton Carpenter, and 9-year-old rockstar Lexis Roland, thanks guys! (more…)

Killington Resort and Burton Snowboards joined forces this past summer to break ground on the East Coast’s first Stash run out of only five in the world. Although the Stash opened to the public in December, it wasn’t until January 15th that a grand opening took place. Nearly 50 journalists descended on the hill eager to check out the goods and spend some time with Burton pro riders Dave Downing, Yale Cousino, Hans and Nils Mindnich. Enjoying the romance of Amtrak’s Ethan Allen Express were a dozen or so handpicked journalists from NYC that were privileged enough to have the private invite extended to come party like a pro with the pros in Vermont.
