You can check out Bideck’s website for pictures of people doing crazy stuff. At $139 they are a little more expensive than their Premier counterparts, but still on par with a complete skateboard. Definitely check these guys out if you are looking for a new snowskate.

Bideck is the founder of two story snowskates. This snowdeck is essentially a miniature snowboard with huge riser pads, attached to a slightly oversized skate deck. One of the great things about the Bideck setup is that you can buy pieces of the kit, and build your own with any skateboard deck you want.

Skating on one of these snowskates feels a lot different than the Premier-style decks. First of all, you can actually carve. It’s a bit sketchy at first, but once you get it down, it isn’t too hard to make some good turns. Because of the way that the decks are bolted together, when you lean back on the tail the lower deck bends, and feels just like pushing down the tail on a skateboard. Because the base is narrower, rails and jumps seem a little scarier at first, but once you have the concept down pretty much anything is possible.
