It might be a bit clichéd to say, but the process of designing and testing the 2008 line can be summed up in one word - fun. We're not talking about the oh so common pre-packaged put it in a bottle and sell it for a dollar "Keep Snowboarding Fun" mantra. (How could snowboarding be anything but fun?). Actually, we're talking about the whole process that took place to bring you all the boards, bindings and boots in the rest of this catalog. It wouldn't have been the same without all the friends we met and involved along the way. We rode, chilled, inspired, were inspired, talked, listened, agreed, disagreed, hung out with and hung over with shop staff, am riders, international riders, locals, and peeps with no title at all from countries around the world. Together we laughed, a lot. At stupid things and at things that were supposed to be serious and at things that were said just to keep the laughter going, in every tope of situation and location and terrain. Like knee deep in Idaho, to no vis spring sessions in Whistler, to digging out buried sleds, to drunken singing in a mountain hut, to rainy day slush fests in New Hampshire, to the first turns of the season on a the Dachstein in Austria, to the early season hockey spit sessions, to the local watering holes, to backcountry snowmobile barbecues, to round table discussions and late night phone calls, the laughter was the constant. Laughter and the drive to produce the best possible sideways sliding products, period. Someone of far more importance and wisdom than us once stated that it wasn't the destination that was important it was the experiences along the wy that really matter. And those experiences along the way are captured in every board, boot and binding we make.
