Of all the choices of movies this year, this one isn’t mine.

With something like 50 movies on the market this year, there has to be something to make a movie stand out and this one doesn’t have it- not in creativity, talent, setting, or anything else. Bad Ideas comes out of a good idea, but it just doesn’t have much that is unique or special about it. I like the intro, but then the movie becomes very bland. Chad Otterstrom has the best part of all, but still not worth the movie.

If you have watched any snowboard footage, you may come away disappointed unless you like to watch people you don’t know stand around and drink, litter, and hit rails over and over. The entertainment of the jibbing and rail hitting doesn’t make up for the average soundtrack (which is too mixed to have any flow), editing (like cutting off the end of a shot to make it look like they rode something out or didn’t eat shit as they landed) and cinematography. And there is nothing special in the extras.
