08-09 Bald E-Gal Productions Trees Please Review
It isn't mind blowing, but the movie is about being with your crew and doing what you love.
Trees Please shows something that I haven't seen in many other videos: Autumn snowboard desperation. Who isn't in their backyard with the leaves turning yellow trying to figure out some way to be on a board despite the lack of white stuff? There is a very chill, inter-city vibe to this one in a way that is different than your normal urban flick. There is more of a focus on building booters in town, in addition to hitting rails and other features.
The wreck footage gives it an authentic "work with what you have got" type feel. Justin Hare's part was my favorite and the mini interviews at the beginning of some of the sections made it inspirational, encouraging on a rider-to-rider level. It is a good display of a bunch of guys working to get their name out there.
