Summary:
One part "Planet Earth" style video footage of natural beauty, one part big mountain powder riding, and one part "Travis Rice Show" mind-blowing tricks, That's It That's All is a snowboard movie for the collection, a coffee table book of movies. You'll watch it over and over and you'll show it to your non-snowboarding friends and family to say "This is why I snowboard."
Review:

Rarely in the snowboard industry has something been as hyped as this year's hit film That's It That's All. Too much hype can be a bad thing, when a product's high expectations meet its average reality consumers are left feeling disappointed, but I'm happy to report that in the case of TITA, the hype is well deserved. That's It That's All is an amazing film, an incredible journey through snowboarding, highlighting the best the sport has to offer, in glorious High Definition. The movie captures the skill of Travis and his crew and the camaraderie of a group of friends ripping, all while showcasing the beauty of our sport.

Travis put together a diverse and skilled crew for this film, and it pays off huge as their diverse talents slay every piece of terrain they tackle. From the huge Alaskan mountains to steeps and jumps in Jackson to the parks of New Zealand, there is nothing these guys can't rip. Of course while it's great to watch Jeremy Jones fly down a ridiculously steep mountain, and listen to Mark Landvik's take on the crocodile hunter, when you really boil it down, it's Travis Rice who powers the video. The guy is so graceful that he makes cats look clumsy, pulling off crazy spins and flip combos that leave you scratching your head figuring out how he got his feet back under him. The triple-backflip 540, for example, is damn impressive.

TITA was shot using state-of-the-art cameras, and it shows. The video quality in the film is breathtakingly gorgeous, and shots are crisp with colors that pop out of the screen. If you're not watching on an HDTV, then you're doing the video a disservice. The helicopter follow shots are amazing, shadowing riders down huge Alaskan mountains with a third-person angle like in a video game, really putting you in the snow like never before.

The extras are numerous and entertaining, there is plenty of additional footage to watch on the dvd. I thorougly enjoyed the sled rescue bit, been there too many times myself, so it's fun to watch someone else go through it. Landvik does some additional stand-up commedian bits, and there's the standard photo slideshow. The "Making Of" is a well done piece and is well worth the price of admission.

There are a number of solid films out this year, but you'll have to scrounge in the couch to pick this one up as well. Go without lunch for a week if that's what it takes, but pick up this movie now!
