Summary:
The cinematography, soundtrack, plot, and rider parts (each are strong), make the Boned Age unique, worth the watch over and over again, and one of the most fun movies of this season.
Review:

The Boned Age is hilarious and Danny Kass and Scotty Lago had me in fits of laughter on an airplane while I watched it on my laptop. Of course there was a discrete audience of people around me obviously watching as well, but pretending they weren’t. I didn’t know my seatmate, but by the time we were to the extras (do NOT miss the sucker fishing in Aspen or Scotty hunting many of God’s creatures- that kid has a weird obsession with animal chasing), the thorough entertainment of it all had us chatting about the industry and snowsports.

The Grenade video this year has a mini-plot feel that is similar to Super Bad. The comedy meshes really well with the actual snowboard sections. That said, the comedy is not a cover up for lame snowboard parts. The whole movie is tight. Huge props to each of the riders for their acting (and dancing) talents so greatly combined with the riding. One of the coolest things is the huge eyeball painted on the tranny of a super kicker, and Scotty/ Danny in the pipe riding together is crazy.
