Summary:
After nailing the binding line in 2007, Head came back for more in 2008 and improved bindings that were already perfect. Head's PX binding series defines the binding genre, and the PX7 is the ultimate in all-mountain bindings.
Review:
For 2008 Head took there already amazing PX series and managed to improve it in many ways. The new PX7 is the ultimate in all-terrain freestyle bindings.

The PX7 has all the features of the PX5, as well as a few more from the PX10. Highback adjustment is still done via the heelcup, as before, but for 08 the PX7 sports the highback rotation controls as well, which means you can perfectly adjust the highback to fit your boots, stance, and riding style.

The heel straps are a step up this year as well, using real leather in places. Toe straps are still neoprene that can be worn like regular toe straps or stretched and worn as capstraps. Head changed up the strap length adjustment mechanism, and the new one is a lot smoother, and feels a bit more solid; the ratchets are still among the best anywhere.

The attention to detail on the PX7 is incredible. There are little leather accents and polishing touches that really show off Head's commitment to making this the best binding on the market. Everything that made the 2007 bindings great is still here, but there's just a bit of new and better thrown in for good measure.
