Summary:
A light-weight spring pant; depending on what you will be doing these may not be what you're looking for, but they work well for hiking jumps.
Review:
The Burton AK line is always over the top, and these pants prove it! Super steezin and functional, the AK continuum pants were my constant companion from first chair in the morning to last call in the saloon. These are basically just a water/ windproof shell with no insulation, ideal for springtime conditions or warmer climates. With large zip vents on both legs, hiking in these was so comfortable on sunny days I felt like I was ascending in shorts (And that was in Alaska). Other features include an adjustable waistband, belt loops, pass loop and built in gaiters to keep the socks dry. My only gripe about these pants is the lack of pockets. With only two waist-side pockets, they are the most basic of the Burton pants. Not a big deal when hiking with a backpack, but for the resort it is always nice to have storage for a tool, wax, money, lighter, etc. Add some cargo pockets, or the always popular and inconspicuous boot pocket and you can rock these from sun up to sun down.
