Maggie's Review

Summary:
High Sierra's bags are tailored to travelers and that is made obvious through yet another good gear bag.
Review:
For not being a monster-size travel bag, the AT32 holds a lot of luggage. I like how streamlined it is and it accommodates both the professional market (nice clothes that need to be folded and not crushed) as well as the vacationer/ snowboarder. In appearance it matches both markets with a crisp-looking material, but some neon-green colored trim.

Depending on your packing style, you can throw your stuff into it in a heap, or organize nicely, thanks to a number of useful pockets and zippers for space management. There are two main compartments that can become one, and the divider between them rolls up and stores out of the way. If you choose to use it with the two main compartments, the divider has mesh pockets that are great for stashing socks, dirty clothes, or anything else you would want separate. The only thing about using it with two compartments is that if you are trying to get in the bottom, you have to close the top or else everything falls out.

The bag functions best when wheeled, but it is also a duffel. I did not use the backpack straps because, unless you have too much stuff, a long way to go, and not enough hands, they aren’t really necessary. It doesn’t hurt to have them though, they are out of the way.

It is a pricey bag, but it is multi-purpose and a good one to have if you want something that can be used for different situations.
