Summary:
These snowpants perfectly compliment the Nimbus Artery Jacket to make a combination that you cannot beat.
Review:
First, read my review of the Nimbus Artery jacket. Second, understand that these pants are just as cute.
The first time I tried these on was in Phoenix with flip flops and a tank top - I couldn't wait to get to the mountain to check them out, so I "test drove" them when it was 85 outside to see how comfortable they were. The inside material is very soft... and warm, yes- you could easily layer these bad boys up or wear one layer on a warmer day. My favorite feature is the felt-lined waist band- comfortable. Something I thought interesting [and rare] is the stealth knee pads- they're internal, so they don't lose the look. And even though they're pretty thin, they do protect your knees, at least a bit, from the bruises when you bail on that S-rail, and from cold, when you're waiting for friends to hit the jumps. The butt area also has extra fabric to keep the numbness away. These are some seriously quality pants. The base cuffs are adjustable, for on- or off-mountain. The highlight is that the waistline zips and hooks into the Nimbus jacket- perfect to stay dry and warm on those amazing powder days. Check out these pants for sure.
