Summary:
This is a smooth, big-mountain movie that will not disappoint.
Review:
Get lost in this video; it is capturing. This is one of the top big-mountain videos of the season because it smoothly transitions from one blue-skied, powdered mountain to the next. The avalanche footage is breath-taking and scary and all the booters are HUGE! Though I like the entire video, my favorite section starts with Jules and roles on through Nico. The music (classical with beats) combined with the terrain will blow your mind. Also, don't miss Kurt's brutal tree slide towards the beginning and the tons of buried extras that follow.
The filming is not only from angles that best compliment each shot, but much of the video is filmed to maximize the use of the natural features (creeks, trees, rocks, peaks, wind-lips) so that among big-mountain movies, Futureproof stands out. The non-rider parts keep the pace of the movie and continue to weave you into the lands of crazy mountains, steeps and deeps. The music is key in keeping up the smooth energy that is maintained until the end.
Throughout the video there is a little martian that if you click on leads you to extra stuff. Beautifully done, this video is among my favorites of the season.
