Summary:
Overall, this video hit the spot for me. I liked the creative cinematography when the camera was attached to the athlete, so the viewer sees only the board while the world, sky, and snow flash in and out (if you're nauseous, you might want to close your eyes for a second or two).
Review:
Alterna Action’s Shrediquette has some pretty spectacular footage. The intro alone throws out some great teaser shots, putting you in the mood as you anticipate the action still to come. It covers a wide variety of terrain. There are some sweet competition scenes, half pipe tricks, backcountry powder and rails hits.

Great presentation, it’s definitely an entertaining flick. It was created more artistically than many films – something I appreciate as an artist. The cinematography is very artistic in its composition. From the coordination of music and visual footage to the variety of shots, it’s well done.

It’s well worth seeing. Scenes are filmed all over the world, Whistler to Chile, Colorado and Sweden. The ending scene has some painful wrecks, but once again, entertaining to watch and definitely an inevitable part of the sport.

Summary:
Overall, Shrediquette is definetely worth the scratch because it features a whole lineup of awesome riders that you may not have seen a lot of and has replay value for more than a season or two.
Review:
Its nice to expand your snow video library and have something that isn't just Mack Dawg, Standard, or Absinthe videos year after year. "Shrediquette" by Alterna Action showcases some serious talent and captures it in 16mm film which always looks great. Riders like Matt Beardmore, JF Fortin, Travis Williams and others walk the walk and make everything look easy and super smooth. While it's a great video, I did have a couple of hang ups

I liked the format of the movie with riders parts as well as location changes such as "The Battle" which gave the film a fresh feel. The footage was fun to watch, with multi-angle shots, and a few rider cams which are always cool. The content of the film was sick and had no real weak parts, but the editing lacked the innovation to really get a "great" rating. While the multi-angle shots helped, the editing seemed fairly similar to most other videos out there. I thought the music was good, with Ladytron, The Knife, Silent Arm and a lot more, it fit the rider's style well and complimented the footage. While the extras content is fun and entertaining, I would've liked to see more of it, which really is the only reason I thought it deserved an average rating.

Summary:
This is a light-hearted, happy go lucky video with random humor and some amazing snowboard footage.
Review:
Sometimes snowboard videos are so built around getting the perfect part that the joy is taken out of the experience. This video keeps snowboarding fun with its cool animation/graphics and genuine documentary of the season. In Argentina the crew was filming in sight of where the Alive crash happened many years ago. That area puts into perspective the harsh terrain that they are riding in. An area that was once the middle of nowhere has become somewhere that people are choosing to go for a challenge…if that’s what you call riding lunch-trays down those harrowing mountains.

There are some many impressive rider parts, with a massive gap at a competition that they clear to JF’s huge shifty, and Tapio's shot over the dam and waterfall. And it was refreshing to see Annie hold her own. And, of course, even the end crash sequence is entertaining.

The extras are really good with lots of extra footage from Colorado, Argentina, Snowwater and Grouse Park (to mention some of it). Many of the extras are just more parts that aren't in the video, or are only partially used in the actual movie.
