Summary:
For half the price of boots, these goggles are so worth it. I mean, why should just your feet be happy?

2005 Update: The same pair I started out reviewing are the same pair I wear today, EVERY DAY.
Review:
If you are willing to pay the price, you will end up with great product. Personally, I would have paid TWICE the price for these. The only trouble I ran into was a slight amount of fogging in heavy snow, but nothing that stayed around for long. With the triple layer of foam for comfort and ventilation, these flexible urethane goggles will definitely become part of your face. The visual field and peripheral vision, as a result of Polaric Ellipsoid geometry, is much greater than in most goggles. To cut to the chase, I fell in love with these goggles because of their comfort and really good looks. They, in my opinion, are the best helmet and non-helmet goggles out there. The A Frames come in lots of great color choices.

Summary:
The A-Frame is one of my two favorite pairs of goggles; and I've tried them all.
Review:
Oakley has always been considered the pinnacle of high-quality eyewear; so it was with great anticipation that I took the A-frame out for review. My first experiences with them at Steamboat were great. I had little-to-no fogging, even in the intense snowfall that we met there. Only after slingshoting them into a snowbank and caking the inside with snow did they start to fog, in other words the goggles are mortal, but just barely. After the use of a hand-dryer the goggs stayed fog-free for the rest of the day.

The A-frames are super stylish. Although several other goggle companies make goggles that have large vents, Oakley did pioneer the vented look, and the goggles still ooze style. I couldn't detect any distortion from the curved lenses, and the coating they use seems pretty impervious to scratching.

These definitely aren't the cheapest goggles on the market, but the price is well suited to the function and style of the goggles.
