Convert : Orbital Chill

Review:
These pants secure to the snow skirt of the Convert Gravity Freeze Jacket, and together they make a good combination that is comfortable and cute.

The pants are made of waterproofed, yet breathable material (that is not wind resistant in extreme winds, but otherwise does fine), they have vents with a mesh lining that do not keep snow out if they are open (ie, don't have them open in deep powder!) but, work well for temperature control in conditions where there aren't excessive amounts of snow. The pockets are numerous and inside the right hip pocket there is a small zipper pocket great for money, lip balm, whatever. On one of the belt loops there is a place to attach a lift ticket, which may be covered by the jacket and the snow skirt. However, it is a good place to attach something that you could then attach the ticket to so it would be easier to get to?

When I was rockin' this gear I was at Winter Park, Vail, Breckenridge and in 4 feet of snow at Steamboat. I was pleased with their basic function.

Review:
These pants are a deep blue shell with a thin liner. They have zipper vents on the outside of each leg, and belt loops that velcro, so you can hook your jacket to them to help keep powder out. I hooked my ticket to one of the belt loops. These pants also have the gater at the base to protect you from powder in the boots.
