Summary:
Convert continues to amaze me with quality gear; and with the measly $69 price tag - especially for that high a waterproofing level- these pants should be on the list of any rider looking for some good all-around snowpants.
Review:
The Geodesic snowpant is a great offering from Convert that quickly became one of my favorite pairs for all-around riding this year. Everything about them is well done, from fit to style to the little details. The pants have a nice relaxed fit to them; they don't look overly baggy, but they aren't at all restrictive.

These snowpants don't quite qualify as a shell, there is definitely some insulation in them, but you'll want to layer them for colder weather. The outer material is super waterproof and windproof, but the most noticeable thing about it is how slippery it feels. While it is cool that it feels slippery, what's even cooler is that stuff really doesn't stick to it; from branches and trees in the woods to messy food in the lodge, it all slides right off.

Convert did a great job with all of the Geodesic's details, but especially the leg-cuff snaps. They put them on the front of the leg, which makes them fit around your boot and binding back, if your down for that style. There are only three pockets, no cargos, which would be my only complaint; none of the pockets are well suited to keeping a tool.
