If you want a more versatile look for the end of the day, and won’t be wearing anything too wooly, this is a good “undershirt by day, outer shirt by night” way to go.

No longer do you have to be too embarrassed to take off your heavy over layers after snowboarding. The idea of keeping long underwear covered up continues to be challenged by Hot Chillys. The Micro Quilt scoop-neck top, combined with the bottoms, not only serves its purpose as long underwear, it is a sexy combination! The sophisticated but playful appearance makes it clear that this top and bottom were not just cut out of a bolt of fabric and generically sewn together.

Comfort and fit wise, the cut and shape are friendly. A heads up, though, the scoop neck is definitely scooped, and may be lower-cut than you want if you are going to have something potentially itchy on over it or if you need more warmth in the neck area. My favorite part is the cuff and waist trim, it is icing on the cake and probably the feature that makes is look most unlike long underwear. I also like the weight of the material- the micro quilted fabric is warm and original.

I find the price for this top reasonable because it is so multi-use.
