The Abacus is built with a burled eucalyptus wood-top. During construction, resin locks the dense wood fibers in place, creating a structural layer that improves board return and resilience. The Abacus also features a new blended paulownia core. Paulownia is light like balsa - yet strong. It allows us to reduce weight, while maintaining a high level of durability.
