No Boundaries or KNOW Boundaries?

The North Face has launched a new snow and avalanche safety campaign called KNOW Boundaries. KNOW Boundaries includes a 14 city tour with athletes like snowboarder Lucas Debari and mountaineer Conrad Anker to provide clinics at The North Face and REI stores around the country, with the goal of teaching snowsports enthusiasts knowledge, skills and training required for safe backcountry travel.
“Over the years, we’ve seen that backcountry exploration in the winter months has grown in popularity, and when you’re exploring new zones, having the right gear is essential. But understanding how far you can push the limits can mean the difference between coming home safely or not,” said Aaron Carpenter, vice president of marketing for The North Face. “Our mission is to provide insight on how to stay safe when heading off the beaten path and into the backcountry.”

Burton’s new film Standing Sideways just had it’s New York premiere in a packed house with more than 1,000 in attendance.. The whole crew from Burton was in attendance, with the pro roster including Terje Haakonsen, Mark Sollors, Mikey Rencz, Kazuhiro Kokubo, Danny Davis, Jack Mitrani, Mark McMorris, Mikkel Bang, Jussi Oksanen and Ethan Deiss on hand to shoot photos and sign autographs with fans. ThirtyTwo Thursday AMMO Montage Release

It’s Thursday, and ThirtyTwo has dropped another part from their full-length Am movie AMMO. This 2:21 minute montage segment includes riders Stale Sandbech, Tyler Flanagan, Jared Jordan, Dominik Wagner, Frank Knab, Justin Mulford and Parker Worthen with some sweet rail, jib, and kicker action. Definitely worth a look.
The full AMMO movie is available now at local snowboard shops for $9.99, and will be up on iTunes for $2.99 on Oct 1.
