Revelstoke Mountain to open Tomorrow

Revelstoke, BC – Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) opens on schedule this Thursday November 27, 2008 for its second season of operation. The Stoke high speed quad chairlift will be running servicing the upper mountain, with downloading on the Upper Revelation Gondola. Revelstoke Mountain Resort has received 117cm of snow to date in the upper alpine and is expecting another 10cm this evening. The last snow fall was Friday November 22nd when approximately 15cm was received. Guests are reminded to ski and ride with caution as early season conditions exist. All visitors to the resort should stay within the ski area boundary and obey all mountain signage. Lift ticket prices for opening day are $49 for adults, $36 for students, seniors and youth and $18 for children. Guest Services at the Day Lodge will open at 7am for ticket sales.

Saturday Pancake Party!
This Saturday November 29th Great White North Restaurant and Revelstoke Mountain Resort will host a fundraising pancake breakfast, with proceeds going to the Revelstoke Ski Club. Breakfast will run from 8am to 10:30am. Come fuel up for a great day on the mountain with family and friends and support the local ski club. Breakfast will include pancakes, sausage and Osso Negro organic coffee, price per person is $5 and $3 for kids six and under. General donations for the Revelstoke Ski Club are also welcomed.
