Sugarloaf to open tomorrow morning
6Winter returns with more than a foot of new snow at Maine’s tallest resort
CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine – Sugarloaf will open for the 2009-10 winter season at 8:30am Sunday, Nov. 28, after more than a foot of new snow blanketed the resort’s higher elevations on Friday night. The mountain recorded eight inches at the base, and better than 12 inches at the top of SuperQuad, with drifts topping two feet. (more…)

BIG SKY, Mont. —Big Sky area skiers can earn their over-indulgent Thanksgiving dinner by burning calories on the ski slopes earlier in the day. Early season snowfall is currently 20% above average providing a spectacular opening weekend. Park City Mountain Resort Kicks Off the Winter Season on Saturday, November 21

The new snow will help Breckenridge and Keystone open more terrain by this weekend and is setting a wintry stage for Vail’s opening day on Friday, Nov. 20 and Beaver Creek’s Nov. 25 opening day.
