Anon shows off new goggles for 2012 with a new website and app
Anon has expanded their goggle collection to include two new frames for 2012. The Comrade joins the Anon family as the largest frame in the line. Its size and spherical lens mimic the curvature of the human eye, and are designed to provide excellent optical clarity. I had the opportunity to ride them a bit last spring, and will have a full review out soon.

The Tracker adds a new youth option. It’s designed to be lightweight and durable, and features full perimeter channel venting to help eliminate fogging. Kid-friendly colorways like ‘Rasta’, ‘Guts N Glory’, ‘Cupcake’ and ‘Wild Rumpus’
These two new frames, and all of Anon’s 2012 line can be viewed now on the newly redesigned Anon website: anonoptics.com. The new site includes features like ‘Color Bomb’, which lets users sort goggle styles by color, and the “Lens Visualizer” tool that showcases point-of-view video footage with Anon goggle lens tints, allowing users to see what various mountain terrain might look like with various lens colors. The new Color Bomb feature will also be available on anon’s updated iPhone app called ‘Look Better, See Better’, which will be available soon.
Anon Optics Introduces New Goggles & Digital Tools for 2012
BURLINGTON, VT (October 6, 2011) For over ten years, anon optics has created progressive goggle styles that give snowboarders a clear perspective of the mountain. First up is the Comrade, which features the largest profile frame in the line. While the new Comrade is the largest frame in the anon line, the all new youth-specific Tracker goggle is the smallest. With a frame height of 83 mm, the Tracker is an ideal goggle style for kids. Kid-friendly colorways like ‘Rasta’, ‘Guts N Glory’, ‘Cupcake’ and ‘Wild Rumpus’ give groms plenty of options when it comes to choosing their favorite Tracker style.
To showcase the entire 2012 anon goggle line, the brand created two new digital tools: the re-designed anonoptics.com (live now) and an updated version of the anon app (coming this fall). The new anon website features more video content and product discovery tools than ever before, giving users a super dynamic way to explore the brand’s diverse goggle line. Anonoptics.com also offers an exciting new feature called ‘Color Bomb’, which lets users sort goggle styles by color. The new Color Bomb feature will also be available on anon’s updated iPhone app called ‘Look Better, See Better’, which was announced this week and will be available later this fall.
Also updated on the re-designed website is anon’s exclusive Lens Visualizer tool, which now features new video content so riders can watch point-of-view footage of someone riding powder, pipe or park through different anon goggle lens tints. This first-of-its-kind interactive tool is only available from anon and allows users to virtually experience what the mountain looks like through different goggle lenses.
