Governor Ritter And Mayor Hickenlooper To Cut Ribbon Opening Sia Snow Show In Denver
WHAT: Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper and local convention and ski officials will cut the ribbon opening the first SIA Snow Show in Denver.

WHY: The SIA Snow Show is bringing 18,000 delegates to the Mile High City for the world’s largest snow sports trade show, the first year of an 11-year commitment. The show will bring $30 million of spending to Denver at a traditionally slow time for the hospitality industry.
VISUALS: Governor Ritter and Mayor Hickenlooper will be dressed in snow sports attire as they cut a ribbon draped between slalom flags to open the show.
TV crews and photographers will be able to photograph the dramatic entrance of 17,000 delegates entering the show floor. The trade show is not open to the general public.
