Much to be thankful for this opening with great snow, 700 acres and $39 ticket prices
BIG SKY, Mont. —Big Sky area skiers can earn their over-indulgent Thanksgiving dinner by burning calories on the ski slopes earlier in the day. Early season snowfall is currently 20% above average providing a spectacular opening weekend. The resort will open the 2009-10 ski season on Thursday, November 26 with nearly 700 acres of skiable terrain and will provide the longest season for any resort in the region. (more…)

Top Female Action Sports Pros in Surf, Skate and Snow featured in All-Girls Contest and Lifestyle Show
LOS ANGELES (November 25, 2009) — On Monday, November 30, at 8:00 p.m. EST, the 3rd Annual Supergirl Jam, the top, all-female action sports event series, will air as an hour-long special on FUEL TV. Produced by ASA Entertainment, the show highlights the best moments from the 2009 Supergirl Jam series of events, including: the Supergirl Pro Junior ASP surfing contest and Supergirl Pro-Am Jam skateboard street competition, as well as the Supergirl Jam snowboard rail jam, skateboard street and inline best trick contests. The program will also feature behind-the-scenes action, athlete profiles and interviews with top female pros in skate, surf and snow. (more…)

Park City, Utah (November 18, 2009) – Park City Mountain Resort opens for the 2009-10 winter season on Saturday, November 21, 2009. PayDay and First Time lifts begin turning at 9 a.m. sharp.
