Early release Jamie Anderson “Ladies Choice”

Jamie Anderson killed the competition circuit last season, and this is the board she plans to do it on again this winter. Jamie had full input on the development of this board, and it features many of Gnu’s goodies, like Magne, Pickle, and Banana.
The Jamie Anderson Ladies Choice will be available this fall for $539, but it’s only available in a limited early release so if you want one you better start looking.

The Art of Flight calls “Dropping Next”

The Art of Flight premiered last night in NYC at the Beacon Theatre, and the entire cast and crew was there to see it. It was also attended by all sorts of celebrities, and made headlines all over the place because of it. If you, like us, weren’t among the lucky 3,000 to see it on the red carpet, you can order the DVD and BluRay special edition on Amazon: Art of Flight DVD BD

Snow Sports Market Sets Billion Dollar Record in December

MCLEAN, Va. (Jan. 27, 2011) – The snow sports market sold more than $1 billion worth of equipment apparel and accessories in December alone and reached $2.1 billion season-to-date. This is the first time in history snow sports sales have topped a billion dollars for sales in a single month.
Sales through December this season are 16% higher in dollars sold and 10% more units sold compared to the same time last season. With excellent snow conditions across the U.S. and improved consumer confidence 2010.11 is predicted to be the best season ever for the market.

Monster Energy’s Sage Kostenburg Takes Bronze In Snowboard Big Air Winter X 15 Scoring His First Ever Winter X Games Medal

January 28, 2011 – Corona, CA – Congratulations to Monster Energy’s snowboard prodigy Sage Kostenburg on taking bronze in Snowboard Big Air Winter X 15 today in Aspen, Colorado.
After a disappointing and controversial elimination earlier today in Snowboard Slopestyle, Kostenburg stayed positive and channeled his uber-technical jump skills into placing third amongst the best Big Air snowboarders in the world.
It was fitting that Kostenburg’s double cork piece on ESPN’s Sports Science aired just moments before he stomped his perfectly executed cab double cork 1260 and back-side 1080 double cork for a combined score of 77. (more…)
