VAIL, Colo. – Oct. 22, 2008 – Mother Nature reminded skiers and snowboarders that the ski season is just around the corner with five inches of snow in Breckenridge this morning and a dusting of snow at the base areas of Vail, Beaver Creek and Keystone. Chain laws have been in effect for parts of Interstate 70, including Vail Pass, since yesterday and cold temperatures have allowed Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone to fire up their snowmaking systems in preparation for their November opening days.   Continue Reading »
