The Art of Flight Soundtrack Now Available

From pulse-pounding beats to melodic instrumentals, The Art of FLIGHT soundtrack crosses musical genres featuring a variety of music from still unknown acts to this year’s breakout performers.
The initial trailer (www.artofflightmovie.com) for “The Art of FLIGHT” featured a specially crafted score created by French musician Anthony Gonzalez, the man behind the electronic dream pop act, M83, and Curt Morgan, the Director of “The Art of FLIGHT.” Morgan and Gonzalez created a new band called The Three Corners of the Earth and placed the track on iTunes after the trailer came out prompting requests for the track to pour in.

With $50 in parts, some time to assemble, and a borrowed pressure washer and air compressor, you can be making snow in your backyard any time you want (and the temperature is below 30 degrees).
New SSX preview shows off the massive world

Part 2 of EA’s SSX Massive World Producer Video was just released. It shows off the enormity of gameplay areas in Patagonia, Antarctica, and New Zealand. We’re looking forward to this one, it’s been a while since there was a new Amped or SSX game.
Magic Carpet from CGear could make the perfect parking lot changing mat

CGear recently reached out to tell us about their “Sand-Free,” multi-layered nylon weave rugs and mats. These rugs allow dirt and sand to pass through to the ground but not come back up on the mat. The product has found a wide range of uses, from beach-goers keeping sand off their towels, to military applications like heli-mats to prevent rotorwash brownouts.
From the sounds of it, the 3′x6′ Sand-Free rugs should make a perfect parking-lot changing mat. We’ll put one to the test this winter.

GoPro ups the ante with the Hero2

There’s been a pretty steady stream of news from GoPro this year, first with the LCD and battery BacPacs, and now with a whole new camera, the Hero2.
The Hero2 is a pretty major upgrade, with twice the processing power and a 11 megapixel sensor (that’s twice the image detail for photos). The Hero2 also supports the new Wi-Fi BacPac and Wi-Fi Remote products that will be released later this winter and add support for video remote control from smartphones and computers.
“GoPro created a new category of camera with the HD HERO back in 2009, and it’s gone on to become one of the best selling video cameras in the world,” says Nicholas Woodman, GoPro’s founder and CEO. “With these big shoes to fill, we invested massively in engineering the HD HERO2 to be one of the greatest, most versatile cameras of all time. We think we’ve achieved our goal and we’re very excited to see the content our customers around the world capture and share with their powerful new GoPros.”

Oakley Airbrake goggle now available

Oakley’s latest eyepiece, the Airbrake is now available. The Airbrake is a stunning goggle and features Oakley’s new SwitchLock Technology that drastically simplifies the lens changing process. When we played with them at SIA we were pretty impressed. The SwitchLock does exactly what it promises, and makes changing lenses a snap.
It’s still an Oakley lens, which I find a bit stiff, but otherwise great to ride in. If you’re a fan of Oakley goggles though, this is a big step up.
