NEW YORK – November 12, 2008 – The Winter Dew Tour today announced the world’s top snowboard athletes that will compete for the coveted Dew Cup and a share of the $1.5 million prize purse offered at the end of the three-stop series, which will kick off December 18 in Breckenridge, Colo.

The athlete roster reads like the who’s who of professional snowboarding, highlighted by multiple X Games and Olympic medalists including Shaun White, Hannah Teter, Andreas Wiig, Travis Rice and Gretchen Bleiler.

“I feel like the Dew Tour is gonna be huge and I’m really looking forward to riding on the entire series this year,” said Teter. “The roster of athletes that will be competing on the Winter Dew Tour is sick. Billabong Ante Up, presented by Monster Energy is going to be taking place Jan. 9-10th, 2009 at Canada Olympic Park (C.O.P.) in Calgary. The event will be a double jump slope style event, with the winner getting an entry spot in the 2009 Billabong Innsbruck Air and Style event that will be taking place Jan. 31st in Austria.

Selection Process:

Waiver:
All selected riders will be contacted once selected and will be given access to a liability waiver that MUST be signed by compeitor and parent/guardian (if under 18) in order to compete

Saturday night, baggy beanies and skate shoes infiltrated the Fox and Hound Pub and Grille in King of Prussia, PA for a night of snowboard videos, prizes, serious DJ skills by Audio Dynamkiz and breast cancer awareness as part of the last official stop for Bonfire’s Fall Premiere Tour.

The premiere of See What I See and Overseas raised $420 for Boarding For Breast Cancer with donation and raffle ticket sales. Bonfire Snowboarding, K2, Salomon Snowboards, Dakine, Skullcandy and Ally Distribution gave away a ton of prizes and everyone went home stoked.   Continue Reading »
