0(Sept 1, 2008) Subaru Rally Team USA driver Ken Block and co-driver Alex Gelsomino have finished their debut event in the hotly contested Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) at the Repco Rally New Zealand this weekend. The duo drove their Subaru Impreza WRX STI to a 13th overall finish among the 24 PWRC entrants. New Zealand was anything but easy for Block who struggled to get accustomed to the Group N specification Subaru which differs greatly from his Open Class Subaru used in the Rally America National Championship.

0Falls Creek Resort, Australia – 25th August, 2008: The 4Star Oakley Stylewars did not only push snowboarding to another level but also had a major impact on the 08/09 Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour Rankings with tour veterans, young guns, and south-hemi up and comers all throwing down enormous maneuvers, staking their claims for the title early on. Stylewars 2008 Day 2
0French Canadians Matts Kulisek and Charles Reid continue their dominance at Stylewars during day two of competition at Falls Creek Australia.
Strong winds, scattered clouds and a riders vote meant that today the Stylewars course was restricted to the bottom feature of the park – the gap jump. The jump had been re-shaped last night to give some more pop and allow the riders a little more hang time. The level of style and tricks definitely stepped up today at Stylewars with the help of the course fine-tuning from head park builders Rueben Cameron from Australia and Doug Mercer of Mammoth, California. Stylewars 2008 Day 1
0A perfect day with sunny blue skies today at Stylewars meant the first day of competition at Australia’s most notorious snowboarding event went down like a bowl full of delicious poutine. The 45 invited riders from around the globe were annihilating the course with a level of snowboarding never before seen in Australia.
Ripping all day and finishing in number 1 and 2 spots respectively was the French Canadian connection (ie: Canadian Club) of Charles Reid and Matts Kulisek who were both sending and stomping their runs all day. Matts was unleashing huge frontside 7 to backside 7 combinations amoung some super smooth 900s. While Charles Reid was dropping insane frontside 1080’s and massive 90-foot corked frontside 360’s that had everyone scratching their heads. (more…)
