Incline Village, NV- The Diamond Peak Marketing Department just received notification that it won a MarCom Gold Award! The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals hosted by The Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals. AMCP is an international organization that consists of several thousand creative professionals.

Judges of the MarCom Awards are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence. There were over 5,000 entries from throughout the United States and foreign countries in the MarCom Awards 2008 competition, and only 18 percent were Gold Winners. The Gold Award was given to the Diamond Peak Marketing Department’s 2007/08 campaign, “Your Tahoe Place for Kids”, for exceeding the high standards of the industry norm.

Diamond Peak did its job in positioning itself as Your Tahoe Place for Kids and it resulted in increased revenue for the 2007/2008 season. With great pride the Marketing Department is happy to report that its efforts have been met with great success, and is truly grateful for having its campaign acknowledged with the 2008 MarCom Gold Award.
