(March 1) - U.S. Snowboarding riders Lindsey Jacobellis (Stratton Mountain, VT) and Nick Baumgartner (Iron River, MI) barreled their way to the top of the podiums Saturday winning the Visa U.S. Snowboarding Cup at Whiteface Mountain, outside Lake Placid. Vans Cup: Sunday Superpipe - Kass and Hight Repeat

Truckee, CA (March 2, 2008) – Danny Kass and Elena Hight ruled the giant Superpipe at Northstar-at-Tahoe for the second straight year as the fourth edition of the Vans Cup at Tahoe wrapped up under sunny blue skies on Sunday afternoon. The guys top three looked a lot like last year with only Louie Vito sliding into second place behind Kass and repeat third place finisher Iouri Podlatchokov. Kass, who also won the inaugural Cup Superpipe in 2005, takes home $20,000 for his efforts on Sunday. For the ladies, it was Hight claiming the $11,000 first place prize ahead of Lizzy Beerman and Kjersti Buaas Oestgaard. Continue Reading »
Keir Dillon & Torah Bright Win 2008 Nissan X-Trail Nippon Open SuperPipe
