First-Ever Ultimate Boarderâ„¢ Competition Announced

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Feb. 26, 2008 –The triathlon of a new generation, Ultimate Boarderâ„¢, is the only event of its kind: a one-week competition to find the first athlete who can conquer the art of surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. Opening the field to both amateur and professional athletes, the Ultimate Boarderâ„¢, held from April 13-19, 2008, gives unknown riders a chance to shine alongside the pros and compete for the first-ever Ultimate Boarderâ„¢ champion title and a first place prize of $30,000. The Oakley Arctic Challenge Searching New Venue and Host Resort

Norway: The Swatch TTR SIX(6) STAR Oakley Arctic Challenge (TAC) 2008 in Holmenkollen was a success with 7000 spectators, a new competition format and all time high exposure. Unfortunately the Holmenkollen Ski Jump arena will be re-built for the ski world championships in Oslo in 2011.
