Sessions Presents the Third Annual Lumberjack Log Jam |

Where better to bring this natural slopestyle contest, than the world’s biggest natural playground, Squaw Valley USA? Apparently, the folks at Sessions agree because the Third Annual Lumberjack Log Jam is coming to Squaw Valley’s Riviera Park Saturday, March 22, 2008.

Squaw Valley USA’s seasoned terrain park builders will transform the newly designed Riviera terrain park into a natural jib paradise. Trees, logs, stumps and rocks turned into tree-jibs, log-rides, stump-bonks, and rock-rides, a triple jump-line and a step-up to a log frame are among the features that make up this year’s Lumberjack Log Jam. By creating one of the most inspiring slopestyle courses ever, it is Squaw and Sessions’ hope that skiers and snowboarders will utilize the creative set-up and tap into their own unique style the course and. Most importantly, The Lumberjack Log Jam is a contest that is not to be taken too seriously, but rather remind the competitors of the natural joy of the sport - why they became skiers and riders in the first place.
Registration is open to SPONSORED AMATEUR snowboarders and skiers, on a first come, first serve basis. Entry Fee is $35 and must be submitted along with registration application. $35 entry fee does NOT include lift tickets, which will be available at a discounted rate of $39 to all competitors through Squaw Valley USA.
Registration must be confirmed by Sessions prior to purchasing a discounted lift ticket through Squaw Valley USA.
