From Monday 25 February to Saturday 1 March, 24 of the world’s best snowboarders and skiers will have free reign of the European Alps. They will be taking part in the Swatch O’Neill Big Mountain Pro, 8 days of all terrain action, in search of the most thrilling obstacles that nature has to offer. Freecaster.tv will be streaming Live coverage for 2 hours every day from 16:00 to 18:00 (CET).

Setting off from Chamonix in France the top 8 snowboarders and the top 8 skiers in the Freeride World Tour rankings as well as those with wildcard invitations will travel through Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Austria with the hope of impressing the judges and winning some of the US$ 80,000 prize purse.

Confirmed snowboarders include Stefan Gimpl (AT), Jeremy Jones (USA) and last years winner Xavier de le Rue (FRA) and in the Freeski Henrick Windstedt (SWE), Sverre Liliequist (SWE) and last years winner Kaj Zachrisson will be competing.

The nature of the event makes it practically impossible for fans to be present but on the flip side the action from the mountains will be out of this world.
