SBG is living it up in Vegas at the Snowsport Industries of America (SIA) tradeshow. This year’s show has been another great experience. Some things worth mentioning:
- DC has unveiled their new snowboard line
- Skullcandy personnel presented a check to Boarding for Breast Cancer for over $36,000
- We have been checking out all the up and coming 2008-2009 lines (some of which are really fresh and different while others are somewhat same ‘ol…more on this later)
- SBG has set up several interviews that will be posted on the site within the next few months

Other big news for SBG directly involves Y-O-U, the reader. After numerous delays, the new review engine is live and you can join us in posting reviews of both hard and soft goods on the site. Instructions will be posted soon after we return from Vegas, along with several contests, promotions, and product giveaways.

SIA.08 SnowSports Trade Show Kicks Off in Las Vegas Inbox

January 29, 2008 (Las Vegas, NV) – The SIA.08 SnowSports Trade Show kicked off stylishly last night with SIA’s Snow Fashion Show held at Fashion Show Mall, where an estimated 1500 show attendees previewed the hottest on/off the slope fashions for Winter 08/09. An estimated 20,000 attendees including manufacturers, retailers, reps, resorts and over 100 sponsored athletes are expected to attend the Show over the next four days. Incline Village, NV- Toyota’s Sick & Twisted Freestyle Tour, presented by Under Armour Performance, is making its seventh stop at Diamond Peak! SBG's New Review System is LIVE!

That’s right, the new Snowboarder Guide review system is now fully operational.

Over the next week we’ll be posting instructions on how to post your own reviews. A forum account will be required to post reviews, so while you’re waiting on the review posting instructions, head on over to the Forums to register a free account.

Skullcandy Makes Largest One Time Donation To Boarding For Breast Cancer

(Las Vegas, NV — January 30, 2008) Skullcandy, a developer of core audio products, has announced their 2007 donation of $36,723 to industry non-profit, Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC).
