Alpine Meadows Opens for the Weekend |
Author: Press ReleaseAlpine Meadows Ski Resort will open for skiing and snowboarding Friday, November 30 for the weekend. Skiers and riders who are clamoring for early-season turns can enjoy Alpine’s slopes Friday, November 30 through Sunday, December 2 from 9am to 4pm. Opening day adult and teen lift ticket price will be $35; ages 5–12 are 10; and 70+ are $15. Kids ages 4 and under are FREE.
The resort will offer beginner groomed trails via Meadow Chair and intermediate through advanced skiing and snowboarding via Kangaroo Double Chair. Kangaroo Run will offer groomed terrain, as well as one table top jump will also be open to skiers and riders.
Ski and snowboard school beginner and private lessons will be available daily for all ages and ability level. Dining, rental equipment, and other resort services will include the Meadows Cafe, Estelle Sports retail shop, season pass office, and the ski/snowboard rental shop, all located in the base lodge.
The only thing better than opening day at Alpine is opening day at Alpine with a little PBR to whet your whistle. That famous Blue Ribbon will be on tap for pass holders, giving skiers reason enough to take advantage of early-season pass rates; available until Friday, November 30.
‘Tis the weekend for Holiday shopping at Alpine’s Estelle Sports Retail Shop. 2006–2007 apparel will be on sale at 70% off the original price. Brands like DNA, Nikita, and North Face offer a wide range of styles for both men and women outdoor enthusiasts.
