Lake Louise Mountain Resort Getting More Snow
Author: Press ReleaseCalgary, AB – November 15, 2007 – Lake Louise Mountain Resort kicked off its ski season on November 10th, and recent snows have provided a favourable first week of skiing and riding.

The mountaintop has received 71cm (27 inches) to date, with 38cm (15 inches) in the past 7 days, and 8cm (3 inches) in the past 24 hours. At mid-mountain, there has been 64cm (25 inches) of snow to date this season, with 30cm (12 inches) in the past 7 days and 7 cm (3 inches) in the past 24 hours.
Terrain access is currently limited to the main Wiwaxy run from the top of the Glacier Chair. However, snow fencing/farming efforts and ongoing snowmaking are providing a positive outlook for additional terrain openings in the near future. Skiers and riders are advised that early season conditions do exist, and to ski and ride with care.
