Vernon, NJ (November 12, 2007) – Snow has begun to fall at Mountain Creek, and opening day is just around the corner. Once again the resort is planning an exciting line up of events, with something for everyone including competitions as diverse as the Special Olympics Winter Games or the Volcom Peanut Butter and Rail Jam, opportunities to ride with the pros such as the Nitro Team Tour, industry showcases like the Burton Super Demo, and more to attract riders and skiers of every age and ability level.

Mountain Creek has built an event schedule that will highlight the best the resort has to offer at both of its base areas, bringing back many popular annual events, and adding some new ones. January will feature non-stop action and culminate in a spectacular Women’s Weekend. And Creek will once again ‘bring the mountain to Manhattan’ in February, creating another unbelievable venue for the Union Square Street Sessions — the coolest urban snowboard event in the nation.
