WINTERGREEN, Va. – Oct. 22, 2007 — Wintergreen Resort plans to open its slopes Saturday, November 24 at 9:00 am for day sessions. Night sessions are planned to begin on Friday, December 14.

Touting one of the country’s top snowmaking systems, Upper Dobie, Lower Dobie, Eagles Swoop, Lower Cross Trail and Potato Patch will open immediately, with additional slopes opening when conditions allow.

Season lift rates are in effect with $64 weekend and $47 mid-week tickets, with half-day, twilight, and night rates also available. Ski & Ride Season Passes are now on sale at wintergreenresort.com or at the ski services office. In addition, overnight ski and sleep packages are available, including the “Ski Free” package, which starts at just $ 87 per person, per night.
