Portland, Ore. (Oct. 9, 2007)— Marc Frank Montoya will be dropping beats for riders and the crowded alley of spectators at the upcoming Backyard Bang in Portland, Oregon on October 20th.

Backyard Bang

The rail jam will consist of an open qualifier and finals with some of the best rail riders in world. It takes place in Ankeny Alley, just off West Burnside in the backyard of US Outdoor Store.

Event Schedule:

Qualifiers

  • 11am-12:30pm – Athlete Registration(Qualifier and Invited riders)
  • 12:30pm – Rider meeting - Qualifier
  • 1 – 1:45 – 15 min Jam, BANG eliminations every 15 min (top five riders advance to main event)
  • 1:45: COURSE MAINTENANCE

Main Event

  • 2:00 – Rider meeting – main event
  • 2:15 – 2:30: WARM UPS
  • 2:30 – 2:45: 15 MIN Jam (BANG elimination round – cut to top 10)
  • 2:45 – 3:00: Top 10 riders, 15-minute Final, BANG format
  • 3:30pm - AWARDS

9:00pm – After party with Future Snowboarding Magazine
