Craig joins The Alliance after a year and a half with The Program as a Regional Sales Manager for Forum, Special Blend and Foursquare. She has over 8 years of sales experience as a retailer at B-Side in Vermont and inside sales rep for Gravis footwear.

“Karen’s the perfect person, at the perfect time. She knows snowboarding from all perspectives of retailer, rep and rider - I’m proud to have Karen in a leadership role in our group” said Director of Marketing for Salomon Snowboards and Bonfire Snowboarding, Brad Steward.

With a petite frame, sharp mind and powerhouse of a personality, Craig is determined to provide the level of back-up and support necessary to help the sales force grow the business in their territories. Said Craig of her new role, “It’s all about our common passion and our ability to contribute to the sport of snowboarding. We have the right team in place to focus on the future and bring new innovation and energy to the forefront.”

Craig will be traveling throughout the season to build relationships with both retailers and regional sales representatives. She will be based in Ogden, Utah and will report both to Steward in Portland, and Utah based Salomon Director of Sales and Director of Hardgoods, Patrick Carland.

“Karen is right in line with the strategy of adapting our snowboard business to be solely focused on snowboarding. She has board,—and board room skills,” said Carland.

Craig has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and has been an avid snowboarder for over a decade.

Bonfire Snowboarding was created in 1989, in Huntington Beach, California, and has made Portland, Oregon its home since 1992.

Salomon Snowboards recently celebrated 10 years of creating leading edge snowboards, boots, and bindings for riders all over the world.
